The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."

Negativ: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Frankfurt airport is terrible

Mentioned previously. By a chain of events Lufthansa started, I and my family we treated as fodder; not customers.

Leider wurde unser Gepäck vom Mumbai Flug nicht auf den Basel Flug gebracht, so dass wir ohne Gepäck in Basel ankamen. Auch wurde diese Information wohl erst spät nach Basel gebracht,da wir dort ewig auf unser Gepäck gewartet haben bis wir informiert wurden. Das trübt den ansonsten sehr guten Flug.

Frankfurt - Paris ist der Business Class lohnt sich nicht - es gibt kaum einen Unterschied!

On board announcements said Lufthansa would rebook passengers with connecting flights and tell us arrangements as soon as we landed. No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

Finally got to Los Angeles after 48 hours. Still haven’t gotten luggage 2 days later and no communication on when to expect it."

Negativ: "i was promised the business lounge when i got to Riga because of the lengthy connecting time, i was refused entry and 2 out of the 3 staff were very rude and dismissive. my upgrade included the use of the lounge at both ends of the business class, i understand that it maybe should not of been promised but thats not what happened. i was very tired and ended having to walk round concourse A for 4 hrs with nowhere to go."

Negativ: "The servicing crew in the business cabin was inexperienced and unrefined. The flight attendants seemed to just want to “get it over with” with questions like “are you done?” The attendants wanted to take our drink order as soon as we got in without giving us a chance to settle into our seats and kept hovering over us until I had to ask her to give us a couple of minutes. The airline did not stock enough snack and ran out mid flight. We had to wait for the next meal service which was not fun. I ended up getting a sweet drink just to get by. Internet, which was paid, was so slow that I got tired of watching it trying to load the pages and gave up. Eventually, the connection completely stalled even though I still had over an hour remaining of the 4 hour package. I used maybe an hour of the total purchase. Total waste because I couldn’t get any work done. Overall, I did not think this was an experience worth a business class ticket."

Negativ: "First of all, we've had to pay registration fee 55 Euros each, just because we didn't check in online! What the hell is that? Secondly, the seats that I paid for were not available! Lousy service..."

Negativ: "Not much was good about this flight. I had to pay an extra €55 because I couldn’t check in online 2 hours prior and had to do it at the airport. The flight itself was a sales pitch with every few moments the flight attendants offering things to sell. I’ll try not to take Ryanair again."

Negativ: "Checking to make sure people carried on only 1 bag that was of correct size, not letting people run up and down the aisles, providing free water, more space, crowd control. Overall, it was the worst flight of my life, and I will never fly Ryan Air again."

Negativ: "It was freezing we asked 3 times to have air con adjusted ...plus other passengers ask too . Nothing was done . Stag and hen people on flight... shouldn’t be served alcohol on flight if they seemed drunk already. People wouldn't sit down even with seat belt signs on..."

Negativ: "Seating was passable for a short flight. Seat allocation was random especially as the booking confirmation was done at the same time. Presumably this is now intentional so as to encourage you to pay the extra fee?"

Positiv: "It was very confusing and I didn't find it helpful that you only had 3 lines that we sat in 2 only to be told to we just need our passport clarification that took 5 min. So we waited in line for 1 hour for nothing."

Negativ: "Schreckliche Erfahrung, wie immer mit Ryanair! Flug natürlich total verspätet, es wird über Lautsprecher angekündigt das das Gate schließt, obwohl noch lange kein Flugzeug kommt, keinerlei Informationen durch das vollkommen überforderte und inkompetente lustlose Personal. Keinesfalls empfehlenswert, lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und eine anständige Airline nehmen"

Negativ: "Im Bus auf dem Rollfeld musste lange gewartet werden. Keine Bevorzugung trotz Priority und Kleinkind, Flug mal wieder das Departure-Window verpasst, Extra-Runden über Frankfurt mussten gedreht werden, etc. pp."

Negativ: "Knapp 3h Verspätung inkl. Warten auf dem Rollfeld."

Negativ: "Der Flug war overbooked also wurde mir gesagt dass er Storniert ist."

Positiv: "Wir wurden rechtzeitig im Flugzeug darüber informiert, dass der Flieger wegen eines Unwetters anstatt mach Dortmund nach Köln fliegt."

Negativ: "Das (zu bezahlende) Essen war überhaupt nicht empfehlends wert. Das Personal von Ryanair konnte keinen Transfer nacvh Dortmund organisieren"

Positiv: "totally full waiting hall, flight had a delay of 45’ flight attendents talking too fast and not understandeable in the bordspeakers"

Negativ: "seats uncomfortable to select seperatly for priority seats makes no sense and pay additional"

Negativ: "Price was outrageous. check-in a nightmare. their site said technical problem, Ryanair staff person said she would explain to check-in woman who promptly said no! Download the check-in and return after 50 minutes in line! Or pay 55 Euro for us to do it! No helpful; Awful service; Ticket sales people after queing for another 30 minutes-same no help-just put new client all this from 4:45 am in the airport. Finally with 10 minutes to spare before being blocked off the flight; check-in deemed to check me and suitcase it requesting 20 Euro. I refused...other passengers got mad so she let me pass. Small crowded plane/no leg room/ constant hostess annoucing buy duty free, food. No landing cards provided! Nothing-you pay, do it all and you are lucky to arrive--NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AND STRESS."

Positiv: "Bodenpersonal beim CHECK IN schnell mit allen wichtigen Infos auch wegen Priority Bording. Flug war pünktlich. Flugpersonal auch freundlich da kann man nicht meckern, aber was schon störend war die Verkaufsdurchgänge so günstig ist der Flug nun auch nicht das mann das so hartnäckig dur hziehen muss. Auch die Sitzqualität fand ich nur durchschnittlich und das bei einem 2,5 Std Flug in jedem Reisebus kann man besser Sitzen"
