I like that I can choose the entertainment I want and that everything is at my fingertips including flight info, food and beverage options, etc. it’s relatively comfortable but it’s not near the level of Virgin America or JetBlue."

It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

They failed to provide me with hardly anything besides 2 blankets and a few remoistened hand wipes to clean up vomit and was very rude when I asked to change seats, even though there were at least 8 other seats open on the flight."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

I had bought ticket for Lufthansa but was shifted over to Eurowings, which was not my choice, and will not be my choice going forward.

They lost my Bebe stroller til today I can’t reach anybody to find my Bebe stroller

Das Boarding ist bei Lufthansa auch nach zwei Jahren Corona immer noch eine Katastrophe. Keine Ansage der Gruppen, so das alle gleichzeitig zum Boarding rennen. Das gleiche beim Aussteigen. Volle Gänge keine Ansage über einen geregelten Ausstieg. Leider kümmert sich die Lufthansa offensichtlich wenig um die Gesundheit der Passagiere.

Frankfurt - Paris ist der Business Class lohnt sich nicht - es gibt kaum einen Unterschied!

Negativ: "The plane was older 747-400 but that is no excuse for the layers of dirt or dust on the air vents and ceilings. I actually took a photos and will be forwarding to Lufthansa. The couple in front of us actually took a wet wipe and wiped down there area and ceiling. Also the boarding process was a mess we actually were taken by bus to the aircraft that was at the freight depot and had to climb stairs to get on the 747. I’m not sure how they handle the passengers with mobility issues. First time flying with a European airline and I was told the service was better not on this flight."

Negativ: "It made us miss our fly due to Lufthansa use stroller stairs for passengers to get off the airplane instead as I had my 89 years old mother who needed wheel chair assistance which did not have during that time. And, with my heavy carry on luggage, plus my under seat luggage that I had to hold my old mother that I had to walk to the bus With pretty good distance that took us to another 10 minutes terminal drive. By the time we got to the connection gate to Berlin, the plane already rolled out to the runway. Now, they have to send us to the next fly, which was at another different gate. Overall, this trip made me very disappointed and horrible."

Negativ: "Das Boarding lief total chaotisch ab, erst wurden wir zu Fuß über den halben Flughafen geleitet, am Gate mussten wir lange auf einen Bus warten und dieser fuhr dann wiederum über den halben Flughafen zurück bis ganz ans Ende wo das Flugzeug stand. Im Flugzeug war es bereits sehr voll, so dass wir nicht unbedingt freundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden, dass wir eventuell nicht unser gesamtes Handgepäck mitnehmen können. Schließlich fand sich doch noch ein Platz in den Staufächern der Business Class, mit dem Hinweis, da hätten wir aber nochmal Glück gehabt."

Wir flogen Business Class Langstrecke auf dem A350. Das Bett ist etwas kurz und geht sehr spitz an den Füßen zu. Die bestellte Obstplatte war schwach.

Gute Landung.

Negativ: "No entertainment system on a 3 hour flight..."

Positiv: "This is a great way to travel from Helsinki to Tampere and avoid the railway and train changing."

Negativ: "The plane is not comfortable, but the flight is very short. It balances out."

Negativ: "Boarding in Finland with not too many comfortable seats in waiting area. I'm used to boarding by group numbers but no such thing in Vantaa airport??? Food not good. Legroom seems tighter than a few years ago. Movie selection not great."

Negativ: "So eingepfercht hab ich noch nie gesessen. Grauenhaft."

Negativ: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."

Negativ: "2,5 Stunden Verspätung. Crew lässt anytime die Eco Pate in die Business. Nach unseren Jacken durften wir bei Landung suchen. Es gab kein Feuchttuch beim Start. Catering war ungenießbar. Es gab zum Salat Nicoles (ohne Thunfisch und Ei) noch nicht einmal Brot. Meine eigentliche Auswahl war bereits ausverkauft. Nur ein Film auf Deutsch!"

Positiv: "Flug hatte 30 min Verspätung aber das kann passieren . Pilot hat sehr niedliches deutsch gesprochen und sich sehr nett entschuldigt . Habe daher Zug verpasst nach hamburg und damit Abend Termin . Hatte am service Gate gefragt , ob ich direkt auf den Flug nach hamburg tauschen kann - es gab freie Plätze und ich hätte einen für 622 Euro kaufen können. Warum muss das anders sein als beim Zug ? Fliegen ist wie Zug fahren . Ich habe auch mein Ticket (79 Euro ) mit der dB für eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 19 Euro tauschen können .. und die was nicht schuld und hat einen schlechten Ruf ;) gerne flexibler werden wenn Flexibilität von Passagieren erwartet wird . Danke , dass sie das ausrichten .. viele Grüße"

Positiv: "I'm alive. The plane did not implode. No crashes! The crew was polite. Plane was very late leaving. Not a good thing."

Negativ: "Had to pay more for extra baggage than a person with the "right" ticket #'s. How to know this trivia in Feb. when buying ticket? My starting #'s did not allow me to prepay online. Instead, rush to airport, pay more by having to pay in person. 2. I also could NOT get my boarding pass online. Instead, forced to drive to airport day before just to be sure I'd be on plane! Finnair counter, Hannele politely double-checked all's well, handed me boarding pass. Hannele told to buy extra baggage online being cheaper. This promise, not accurate. Absurd!"

Negativ: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."

Negativ: "I don't live in Riga and had pick up scheduled in Rigas airport to take me home to Telsiai, Lithuania. Because flight was delayed and I had to fly to Talin and then to RigaI I arrived at 10pm plus took me another 30min to figure out what happened with my luggage. I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("

Negativ: "This was booked as British Airways, but ended up American Airways. The food was cold and had to be reheated, the plane was worn, overall this was one of the worst flights to Europe ever. I did not book American, just got duped into it, but now I will make sure I will never fly American again."

Negativ: "The seats are too small, and there were two empty rows behind us, but the crew seemed to be using them to sleep and did not allow anyone back there. The monitors were in the aisle, and I could not see it well, and I was never offered any headphones, so I could not watch the in flight entertainment. Overall, the flight was pretty disappointing."

Negativ: "I paid for an upgraded seat and after boarding other passengers were being moved to the same area that I had paid for an upgraded seat FOR FREE!"

Negativ: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

Positiv: "I thought the BA/American/Finnair flight was excellent. The food was delicious both ways, much superior to United, American or Continental which I often fly. Excellent food, legroom, inflight entertainment (going out my row of seats - well, nobody could get any entertainment access) all was very good. Loved the newspaper choice when leaving Gatwick. I would definitely recommend again."
